Cal North Adjusters,
LLC
was founded in 1997 by Charles Veader,
James Cash, and Peter Grace after all had worked in the industry for a
cumulative total of over 60 years. Their goal was to create a firm
that would fulfill their vision of efficient, responsive, and professional
claims handling. The
Principals:
James Filomeo - is the partner in charge of our Eureka office. He has
over 10 years of investigation and supervision experience with his previous
company, Filomeo Investigative Services of Eureka, as well as several years
of experience working for various adjusters and investigating companies in
Eureka and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jim specializes in complex liability, employee/employer relations and
workers’ compensation investigations for insurance companies, third party
administrators, and public entities.
His education includes an AA degree in Administration of Justice and he
graduated with honors through paralegal studies and is a certified
paralegal. Jim has also completed POST certification for reserves officers
and worked as a firefighter and insurance agent before becoming a licensed
investigator.
Peter Grace
- is the partner in charge of our Chico office. He specializes in property
losses, including homeowner, farm, and commercial lines. He has handled losses involving time element,
retail, and service and manufacturing establishments.
Other areas of experience include various casualty claims, scene
investigations, determination of liability, bodily injury evaluations,
property damage and public entity claims. Peter has supervised
catastrophe claims operations and performed policy appraisals for several
clients
His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in
Geography from California State University at Chico, the AIC certificate, a
Property General Adjuster designation from GAB Robins and Advanced Casualty
School from GAB Robins.
Charles Veader - is the partner in
charge of our Santa Rosa Office. He also has more than 28 years of both staff and
independent adjusting experience. Specializing in property losses, he
handles personal and commercial lines, including winery losses, construction
defect claims, and business interruption. He has also supervised
catastrophe claims operations, testified as a qualified expert witness and
done policy appraisals.
His education includes a Bachelor of Science in
Finance from California State University at Chico, AIC Certification from the Insurance
Institute of America, General Adjuster Program from UAC, as well as
a Building Damage Estimation Certificate from Vale Technical Institute. |
